Samsung is known for its great telephones and they have started to design a number of new gadgets for the benefit of people around the globe. To obtain an advantage on the competitors they have introduced a new model called Repp. The new mobile is here to take on all of the cell phone deals found on the market.

You can look at this product as an entry level device. It is true that it runs the identical operating system as the top cell phone deals in the marketplace but the specs are far from being the greatest. You will get a Gingerbread running phone at a low price, but do not expect decent performances.

The cellphone carries a display that has a diagonal of 3.2 inches. This limited dimension of the display can prove problematic when trying to watch videoclips or playing games. Additionally, the Design Division decided to not include any built-in memory for this device. The cell phone carries a regular 2GB SD card and you can expand the memory by buying a larger card.

The most important dissatisfaction, for me, is the poor camera performances. It offers only 3.2 megapixels and it does not have a LED Flash. It will be impossible for you to make pictures during the night or in bad lighting conditions. Also, the video shooting capabilities are non existent. You will only get videos that have a very small resolution like the ones of a poor webcam.

The bright side of this machine is that it is usually free if you buy it using a pre-signed contract with one of the local operators in your current region. If you do not want to be tied up to a contract you can get this phone for under 150$.

This mobile phone might not be the greatest, but it is a fantastic machine for people that are not fussy when using a cell phone. If you want to see how a true smart phone performs without spending all of your earnings, you can choose the new Samsung Repp. After you gain some knowledge in working with smart phones you may get an upgraded phone from the same manufacturer or from another one. This product is good if you want to see how the Gingerbread OS runs and if you want to see if you can get accustomed to a touch sensitive screen. Samsung has devoted lots of time for developing this model and I would give it a rating of 7 out of 10.
